If you’re in the mood to change the look and feel of your OS X Leopard dock, then Dock Library by Dative Studios is for you. It takes the pain away from customizing the dock with this easy to use tool.
Once you get some styles in your library, you’re just a click away from changing the look of your dock. No hunting through hidden system directories, just select the dock you want and click “Activate”.
There’s never been a better time to buy a Mac than now. With the Intel processor setup Apple has decided to go with- it can run Windows! Some tests have actually shown that Windows runs better on a Mac, than it does on other OEMs such as Dell, HP, and Toshiba.
Some of you Mac owners may have been curious about how the world of Windows was looking with Windows 7. Well, you can try it on your Mac! (Intel Macs only).
The update was officially announced for June 17th, 2009, but it’s on Torrents and File Host servers already! I am downloading it as we speak. This should be the final release- so it is LEGIT!

UPDATE: I installed it and played with it quite a bit and it is super snappy. The camera has noticeably improved. The YouTube app is sooo much better with the ability to sign in to your YT account. You can comment, rate, and flag videos straight from the app. Plus it gives you access to your favorites which is great!
The Copy and Paste in very nicely done. Just tap on the block of text, and drag the copy box around the portion of text you want, and simply tap “Copy”. I will keep playing with it and keep updating the post if I find anything interesting.
You’re no Mac power user until you learn your keyboard short cuts. Keyboard shortcuts make you more productive, and save tons of time. Once you master these combinations, you will NEVER go back to point and click again!
The WWDC 2009 conference will be held in San Francisco, CA this morning. It will finally add closure to all the rumors flying around. New iPhone? Snow Leopard? I will update you with the details! Stay tuned…
Apple revolutionized the mobile application market when it launched their App Store July of 2008. Since then, the store has been flooded with useless and mediocre apps which slipped through the cracks, developed in hopes of scoring a quick buck. I’d like to start helping readers with iPhone app posts from time to time, in order to introduce great gems from the store.
Here is my list of the 5 apps which I NEVER uninstall:
Beejive IM ($14.99) – From Blackberry fame, Beejive has come out with a version for the iPhone. This app is so nicely done- a long list of services supported, different sound schemes, wallpapers, IM alerts to email (real time server notifications coming with iPhone 3.0 update), ability to send images, and more. It supports AIM, Google Talk, ICQ, Jabber, MSN, MySpace IM, Yahoo IM, and Facebook IM. I love being able to change my buddy icon straight from the phone, with images in my iPhone photo albums. Pricey yes, but you definitely get what you pay for! (more…)
